About the yarn Midnatssol and light and dark colors: Some of the colors have a black “inner thread” and some have a white “inner thread”. The dark colors with the black inner thread are a bit more fluffy with longer fibers and make a more dense fabric than the lighter colors. The correct gauge might be achieved with different needle sizes depending on which of these two yarn qualities you use. If you choose to mix a color with the black thread and one with the white thread, the structure of the fabric will vary a bit between the 3 different colors of the squares/checks. The scarf on the picture is a mix of a dark and a light color.
An alternative yarn could be 2 strands of Zen from Lang Yarns held together.
25 grams = 200 meters (merino / suri alpaca / silk)
